WOW. I’m still reeling from how this book ended.

I’m so impressed and thrilled with how well thought out this series was, it’s clear that in writing this the whole story was thoroughly understood before publishing the first installment. I was worried as this last book was going on if it would tie up all the loose ends well but it definitely proved itself. Still can’t get over that final curveball! While reading this last book, I was trying to drag it out as long as possible since I knew I’d miss the characters (a huge plus, really loved them all) but I’m far from disappointed with how it ended. Definitely leaves you (or me, at least) wanting to re-read all 1500ish pages of the trilogy with the new insight you earn in the end.
The last plot twist is slightly blinding my perception of the book as a whole at the moment but none of it was at all disappointing. Super action-packed and filled with raw emotion in dealing with trust, betrayal, love, hatred, and how to build/rebuild the future. Super pleased and pretty impressed with how everything played out in this final installment, characters’ secrets being revealed, the black, white, and gray intentions all blurring into a bit of a mess, and, finally, how it’s all wrapped up in the end–I’d say a satisfying ending to a well-done trilogy.
