Hello, everyone! It’s getting to be that time of year when the holidays are in full swing and it may be harder to catch a break. Busy entertaining family, engaging in social events, and getting ready to wrap up the year altogether — it can certainly be hectic. It can also be easy to get down on yourself if you came into the year with a big checklist of things to do just to find them nowhere near complete now.
As much as I love to read, I always find that I have a hard time reaching the goals I set. In some ways, I think it’s good because it keeps me challenged. In others, it leads me to think that maybe I should be easier on myself if I have a harder time reaching them.
All of that being said, since I was already compiling a list of the shortest books on my physical/digital TBR, I thought I’d share them with anyone else who may also be scavenging to fulfill a reading quota. Some of the books mentioned I’ll have read but most of them will be goals for the next month or so.
(Please note that the page counts in this post are based on the editions of these books that I own. Other editions will vary.)

Of all of these picks, I’ve read about half and quite enjoyed those. The rest, I’m looking forward to picking up soon. 🙂 I hope this list gives you some inspiration! It’s definitely helped me a bit.
Have you read any of the books listed? Did you like them? Why, or why not? Do you have any other favorite shorter books/novellas? I’d love to hear your thoughts below!
